ADCB announced a generous contribution to the international relief efforts for helping the victims of the recent earthquake in Pakistan which left behind more than 60 thousand deaths and millions of injuries and homeless people in the devastated areas.
In its Press Release published today, the Bank said that it decided to give financial aid to the victims of the devastating earthquake in Pakistan through launching a donation campaign among its staff members all over the UAE. In addition to the funds raised by its staff during the two weeks campaign starting from the 1st of November, ADCB made a generous donation.
During the reception held today in ADCB head quarters in Abu Dhabi to celebrate this occasion, Eirvin Knox, ADCB's Chief Executive Officer handed the donation cheque to H.E Khalifa Nasser Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the UAE Red Crescent Association.
'Within the framework of the relentless efforts of the UAE to help the victims of Pakistan earthquake, came this campaign and donation in confirmation of ADCB's firm belief in the importance of its role in supporting humanitarian causes and contributing to the relief and rescue endeavors in devastated areas and under privileged countries all over the world', said Knox.
