During an official inauguration ceremony, ADCB today unveiled its new state-of-the-art business centre at Industrial City of Abu Dhabi Mall. The new business centre reflects ADCB's recognition of the changing demands of industrial sector and the new economic development and breaks the mould of commercial/industerial banking to set a new standard for the financial industry.
"This is an extremely exciting day for all of us at ADCB. The opening of this new ADCB business centre in ICAD is a significant milestone. Our commitment is to always embrace the new developments in the economy and meet the demands in the industrial market, by taking such steps, we know we can continue to meet the expectations of our customers and fulfil the demands of the new industrial city," said Eirvin Knox, CEO of ADCB.
The new business centre has been developed with a state-of-the-art creative design concept that delivers on ADCB's focus to continually provide innovative customer orientated products and services. Every aspect of ADCB's business from day-to-day operations to its products, the quality of service given and the customer experience provided in its branches, all tangibly contribute to fulfilling ADCB's positioning as "The Bank of Choice" that allows customers to choose what they need, when they need it and all in a clean and uncluttered environment.
To help customers quickly evaluate and choose from the complex and often competing range of offers, the whole ADCB portfolio of services and products have been rationalised into three simplified groupings. Each of these has been given customer friendly descriptions and highly innovative and strikingly contemporary colours to immediately define, at a glance, the nature of the transaction process.
FAST zone (burnt orange) Including all typical automated transactions such as account and credit card balances; recent transaction and fax-back mini statements; electronic bill payment; funds transfers; exchange and deposit rates; activating and closing accounts; activating credit and debit cards; product information; changing pin codes. FREQUENT zone (sage green) Including all typical counter transactions such as cash / cheque deposits and withdrawals; SWIFT / telex transfers; e-Dirham purchase; demand drafts issue; utility bill payment; detailed balance enquiries; cheque / deposit book requests; foreign exchange and travellers cheques. FOCUSED zone (fuchsia) Including all typical consultation based services such as opening current/savings accounts; insurances; investments; credit cards; loans; ROD; bank certificates; safe deposit lockers; standing orders.
"At ADCB we acknowledged that a customer wants different things from the bank at different times; to be a partner, to provide answers to customer's needs and to treat every customer as an individual. As such, ADCB has positioned itself as a flexible facilitator that allows the customer to dictate what they want at any point in time in terms of the branch, the products and the level of service. This new business centre with its innovative design delivers on all these levels," said Knox.
The new ADCB business centre in Industrial City of Abu Dhabi will offer a comprehensive range of products and services as well as 2 ATM's, 2 Internet Pods and a telephone banking unit.
"Every change that occurs at ADCB is a stride forward to accomplish the strategic restructuring plan. The unveiling of our new innovative and state-of-the-art ADCB business centre in Industrial City of Abu Dhabi is the next phase of expressing our distinctive character and communicates the essence of who we are, how we behave and in turn how we are perceived," Knox concluded.
