Abu Dhabi, 3 May 2010: Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank announced today that it has graduated almost 300 UAE National trainees through a new initiative of human resources development in Ras Al-Khaima and Fujeirah. This follows the completion of a 12 month “Watani” programme that covers a broad range of business areas, including Finance, Accounting, Business English and Banking Transactions.
Mr. Sultan Al Mahmoud, Head of Human Resources, ADCB said: “At ADCB we recognise the importance of nurturing the upcoming talent throughout the UAE. Ms. Mudhi Muzafar Al-Haj, Head of Strategic Business Development, Consumer Banking, visited Ras Al-Khaima and Fujeirah, acting as the Emirati Academy’s programme designer to work closely with trainees during 2009, graduating the top 10 students from each group.
Ms. Mudhi Muzafar Al-Haj added: “The project was carried out with the purpose of developing the National human resources in the Northern Emirates, preparing them for their careers in the banking industry and solidifying ADCB’s contribution and commitment to its Emiratization strategy.”
