ADCB appoints Chief Risk Officer

Abu Dhabi, 4 August 2009: Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank announced today that Kishore Rao has joined ADCB as Chief Risk Officer. Kishore Rao has taken on the role of overseeing the development and implementation of Bank's Risk Management Framework and its Strategic Agenda.

Kishore commenced his career with State Bank of India, where he was employed for 14 years. He left the position of Senior Operations Manager at SBI to pursue an opportunity at ABN AMRO (Bahrain, Europe and US). At ABN AMRO, where he spent over 13 years, all his experience was in the bank's Risk Management. He has now joined ADCB from Arab Banking Corporation at Bahrain, where he held the position of Chief Credit and Risk Officer.

Kishore today stands tall with over 30 years of work experience in the banking Industry and with exposure to India, Asia, Middle East, Europe and US markets. He possesses sharp business acumen, ability to assess risk and appropriate levels of return, strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and multicultural awareness.
