ADCB reaffirms its commitment to driving environmental awareness
through its partnership with EWS-WWF

Abu Dhabi, 26 November 2012, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) today announced its partnership with the Emirates Wildlife Society in association with WWF (EWS-WWF). This move reaffirms the bank's commitment to working with organisations that enrich the community and the environment.

The partnership aims to empower ADCB customers and employees to take environmental action and encourage them to adopt sustainable behaviors by engaging them with EWS-WWF's environmental awareness and conservation initiatives

Martin Scott, Chief Marketing Officer, commented, "As one of the biggest banks in the UAE, we believe that we have a responsibility to set an example in making a positive contribution to building a sustainable environment for all the inhabitants of the UAE."

He added, "We are very proud of the work EWS-WWF undertakes and are glad to support them in their efforts to both protect and conserve the natural heritage and wildlife in the UAE. The tireless dedication displayed by EWS-WWF will protect the environment for this generation and generations to come."

ADCB has pledged to support EWS-WWF over the next twelve months and by using its ATM machines to raise awareness of important environmental issues, ADCB customers can actively participate by donating AED1 through ADCB's ATM Donation scheme.

Nicolas Delaunay, Business Development and Marketing Director at EWS-WWF said: "EWS-WWF would like to thank ADCB for their generous support in promoting environmental consciousness to all their ATM users, giving them the option to contribute to our environmental work here in the UAE and we look forward to developing a long lasting relationship with the Bank. We are very excited and pleased to embark on this new venture with ADCB and look forward to jointly increase the knowledge and awareness among the citizens of the UAE"
