ADCB Islamic Banking Announces MDSA and EMSA Winners

Abu Dhabi,8 October 2013: Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) Islamic Banking today announced the August winners of the Millionaire Destiny Savings Account (MDSA) and Emirati Millionaire Saving Account (EMSA). The EMSA encourages UAE Nationals to save regularly while rewarding them with monthly cash prizes. ADCB's monthly draw for the EMSA and MDSA took place at the bank's head office in the presence of representatives from the Economic Development Department- Abu Dhabi.

This month's winner was Mr. Taranjit Singh Sahni from India. Mr. Sahni won the MDSA Grand Prize of AED 1 million having opened the MDSA account in August 2012. Mr. Sahni plans to use his winnings to open his own business in Ras Al Khaimeh.

Following the announcement, Mr. Sahni commented, "I am extremely grateful to ADCB for creating such an innovative product. The bank has brought me good fortune and I fully intend to strengthen my relationship with the bank in the future. Thanks to the MDSA jackpot, I can now fulfill my lifelong ambition which is to own my own business."

The bank also named Mrs. Masifa Rashed Salem Rashed Al Mansoori as the winner of this months EMSA prize of AED 250,000. Mrs. Al Mansoori who is a mother of four, opened her EMSA account earlier this year.

Commenting on her win, Mrs. Al Mansoori said:"I would like to thank ADCB for this wonderful prize and for its commitment to the UAE community overall."

Congratulating the winners, Mr. Amr Al Menhali, Head of Islamic Banking at ADCB, said "We are delighted to announce the recipients of this month's MDSA and EMSA prizes. In celebration of the 42nd UAE National Day, ADCB Islamic Banking will offer UAE Nationals the chance to win even more prizes in December with the Grand Draw prize of AED 2.7 million being announced at the beginning of December 2013."
