ADCB names Martin Roussel as Head of Business Banking Division

Abu Dhabi, 23 March 2014: Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank ("ADCB") has announced the appointment of Martin Roussel as the Head of Business Banking Division.

With 20 years of Small Business Banking experience in North America and Europe, Martin currently leads the small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) team and a specialized sales force. Covering the whole UAE geography, he has full P/L ownership of the business line

Prior to joining ADCB, Mr. Roussel spent 7 years with Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI AG) in Vienna where his last position was Executive Director, Small Business Banking. Having responsibility of 15 East European countries (CIS, CEE and SEE), his team helped RBI build one of the most successful SME franchise in East Europe.

Mr. Roussel began his career with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), a crown-owned corporation specializing in SMEs financing and consulting, where he gained expertise in business analysis, credit analysis/structuring, sales & distribution, treasury, strategy and enterprise risk management.

Besides holding a B.Sc. in Actuarial Science, Mr. Roussel graduated from University of Cambridge MBA in May 2013. His alma mater is University Laval and he is a CFA chartholder since 2001.
