ADCB invests in employee learning and development through many channels, including our Ambition University programmes, our train-the-trainer approach, and our e-learning platform. Such investments are vitally important to the Bank's long-term success, as they empower our workforce, enhance competencies, and foster productivity and professional growth.

Our suite of e-learning programmes consists of over 450 technical modules including anti-money laundering, compliance and operational risk. The aforementioned modules are mandatory for all new joiners as part of their induction programme before being permanently confirmed in their positions.

Sustainability Training

Sustainability training was integrated into the employee induction training programme in 2016 which each new joiner is required to complete prior to being permanently confirmed in their positions. In 2017, approximately 170 new staff received sustainability training.
