Formation Through a Strategic Merger
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank was formed through the strategic merger of Emirates Commercial Bank, Federal Commercial Bank and Khaleej Commercial Bank. With the support of the Abu Dhabi Government, the bank began its journey as a trusted national institution.

ADCB became one of the first local banks to list on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, reinforcing its commitment to transparency and long-term growth.

A Powerful New Force in the UAE Banking Sector
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) merged with Union National Bank (UNB), and the combined entity acquired Al Hilal Bank, strengthening the bank’s position as one of the largest banking groups in the UAE.
The new ADCB Group is now trading on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange under the ticker of ADCB.

ADCB completed the full integration of Union National Bank and Al Hilal Bank ahead of schedule, unifying 72 branches and 450+ ATMs across the UAE. The bank also expanded its presence in Egypt, rebranding UNB Egypt as ADCB Egypt.
