Friday 7th of November 2014 - ADCB once again demonstrated its drive for raising awareness of breast cancer in the UAE by staging the ADCB Pink Polo. The ADCB Pink Polo has quickly become one of the most important breast cancer awareness initiatives in the UAE, now completing 5 years consecutively. The annual fundraising event at Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club was held on 7th of November 2014, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club.

The ADCB Pink Garden returned again this year with more fun for kids and treats for ladies. Kids enjoyed the bouncy castle, climbing wall, interactive garden games, arts and crafts, a petting zoo and lots more. The first 300 ladies to the ADCB Pink Garden received a special ADCB Pink giveaway gift bag. The ADCB Polo Team won the exhibition match against tough contenders Maserati with a 6 – 4 win.

ADCB Pink Polo 2014 marks the close of an extensive month long breast cancer awareness campaign organized by the bank. Through a series of events and activities, ADCB raised awareness and funds to support cancer research. Events included: the ADCB Zayed Sports City Pink Run, ADCB Pink Golf at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, and a day of awareness for ADCB employees. The ADCB Tree of Hope was present at each pink event, and encouraged donations to be made with a message of hope posted as the budding leaves of the tree branches. ADCB ATM users also had the opportunity to donate AED 1 at the end of each ATM transaction throughout the month of October.
