Board of Directors

Mr. Farooq al Marzooqi joined the Board of Directors in 2018. He currently holds the position of Senior Banker – Islamic, Corporate & Investment Banking Group of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.
Before moving to ADCB, he had been Head of Wholesale Banking in Al Hilal Bank PJSC in Abu Dhabi, and previously he held a number of senior positions in Commercial Bank of Dubai, First Gulf Bank, and Noor Bank.

Ms.Kairesheva joined the Bank in 2026. She has more than 34 years in finance, held senior positions in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kaztermitrans JSC, TemirTrans Service, AGIP Kazakhstan North Caspian operation Company N.V. and other institutions.
She holds Doctor of Business Administration, State Auditor Certificate, Professional Accountant Certificate, Independent Director Certificate.

Mr. Ahmed Abdulaal Ali Abdulaal Al-Najjar joined the Board of Directors in 2023. Mr. Ahmed Abdulaal has a great experience in the banking sector, previously worked at ADCB, Standard Chartered Bank. Mr. Ahmed Abdulaal graduated from Griffith University (Australia).
