Professor Jassem Ali Al Shamsi is the first Emirati Shari-ah scholar to lead the ISSC of ADCB Islamic Banking. He previously served as Dean of the College of Shari-ah and Law, UAE University. In addition, he chairs or is a member of many other ISSCs for Islamic banks/windows and financial institutions.
Dr. Ibrahim Ali Abdalla Al Mansoori holds a Ph.D. in Economics & Islamic Banking, as well as two Master’s Degree in Economics & Islamic Banking and Pedagogical Psychology.
Dr. Ibrahim Ali Abdalla Al Mansoori is a Director of Sharjah Islamic Center for studies of economics and finance since 2014, and Vice-Rector for academic affairs at Sharjah University for its branches since 2016.
Dr. Ibrahim Ali Abdalla Al Mansoori is also a teacher of the Ministry of Education and Pedagogy and has been a member of the Fatwa and Shari-ah Supervision of the Arab Investment Bank since 2014.

Salim Al Ali holds a Ph.D in Financial Law from the University of London, in the UK. Dr. Salim Al Ali is also a Master of Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. Dr. Salim Al-Ali has a wide researcher background along with more than 10 years’ work experience in academic institutions, such as BPP University UK and United Arab Emirates University.
Dr. Salim Al Ali is involved in scientific activities and takes part in major research conferences in the UK and UAE. In 2016 he was awarded the Rashid Award for scientific achievements.
Mahmadruzi Shoev started working in Al Hilal Bank PJSC (UAE) in the Department of Shari-ah in 2009 and was subsequently transferred to the Kazakhstan office in 2010. He previously worked for Emirates Islamic Bank in UAE in the Department of Shari-ah's Structuring and Coordination.
Mahmadruzi Shoev graduated from Islamic Da'wah Academy and the Faculty of Economics of the International Islamic University of Islamabad, Pakistan.
Mahmadruzi Shoev is responsible for supervising all activities of the Bank to ensure their compliance with the principles and rules of the Shari-ah and fatwas pronounced by the Shari-ah Board of the Bank. Mr. Mahmadruzi Shoev is also responsible for Shari-ah's auditing and participates in the development of new products and services.
