Gordon Haskins joined ADCB Bank Kazakhstan in 2016 as Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer. He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking and legal sectors.
Prior to joining ADCB Bank Kazakhstan, he worked in RBS Kazakhstan as Country Executive, Chairman of the Management Board and member of the Board of Directors.
He also served as Chief Operating Officer for the Debt Capital Markets & Risk Solutions business for the EMEA region in RBS Group. He worked at RBS Group for more than 13 years, including prior positions as Managing Director in regulatory developments and Head of Transaction Execution in the Secured Corporate Debt business.
Gordon Haskins started his career as a lawyer, working for more than 12 years with Clifford Chance in London and Davis & Co (now DLA Piper) in Canada. He holds a BA in history and politics from the University of British Columbia (1987) and a law degree from the University of Toronto (1991).
YYeltay Mukhamejanov joined ADCB Bank Kazakhstan in 2013. As a member of the Management Board and Head of the Corporate Banking Department, Yeltay oversees the development and implementation of the strategy for the corporate banking business, including the development of trade finance and cooperation with financial institutions.
Yeltay Mukhamejanov started his banking career with the HSBC Group, where he was responsible for working with major corporate customers and national companies in Kazakhstan. For three years prior to joining ADCB Bank Kazakhstan, he worked in the Head Office of the HSBC Group in London, in the Global Markets Department, where he was responsible for business development in the CIS countries and in the South African region.
Yeltay Mukhamejanov has extensive experience in international investment and corporate banking, risk management, and financial products development. Yeltay Mukhamejanov holds an MBA Degree in Finance from the University of Cardiff (UK), where he studied under the Bolashak Scholarship Program, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Public Administration from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics, and Forecasting (KIMEP).
Aidyn Tairov joined ADCB Kazakhstan at the opening of the bank in Kazakhstan in 2010. As a member of the Management Board and CFO and Financial Director, he is responsible for the operation of the Finance Department, oversees the Treasury Department, and is responsible for interaction with the regulatory and government bodies.
Prior to joining ADCB Bank, Aidyn Tairov worked as Financial Director and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board in Demir Kazakhstan Bank, Citibank Kazakhstan, and Nurbank, where he was responsible for financial, managerial, and regulatory activities, Treasury, and Back Office functions. He has extensive managerial experience in finance, accounting, treasury, and information technology.
Aidyn Tairov is a member of the Islamic Finance working group of the National Bank of Kazakhstan and one of the initiators and experts on making changes in the terms of Islamic financing in the banking and tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Aidyn Tairov graduated from the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, and was trained at Durham Islamic Finance School. He holds a degree in the professional accounting. He was awarded a jubilee medal of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, related to the 20th anniversary of the tenge.
Gulshat Askatova has been working with ADCB Bank Kazakhstan since its opening in 2010.
As a member of the Management Board and Director of the Risk Management Department, Gulshat Askatova is responsible for managing the risk management system, efficient operation of the lien and credit support services, and credit underwriting. Gulshat Askatova has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry and, prior to joining ADCB Bank Kazakhstan, held a number of senior positions in UniCredit Group (ATFBank), ATF Leasing, Agrarian Credit Corporation, and Nurbank.
Gulshat Askatova has extensive knowledge in risk management, corporate and retail finance, treasury, strategic planning and business process optimization. She graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management with a degree in Finance and Credit and holds an MBA in General and Strategic Management from the Maastricht School of Business (the Netherlands).
