ABU DHABI COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES (ADCP)

One of the largest and best-known property management service providers in the UAE, ADCP manages an extensive portfolio of more than 2,000 buildings, representing more than 57,000 residential and commercial units throughout the UAE.

Our services, which span tenant management, leasing, facilities management and project management, are provided by an experienced team of 280 real estate professionals.

In 2020 ADCP launched 24/7 secure online landlord and tenant services and a dedicated helpdesk. It also introduced online appointment booking, and a new Tajdid remote lease renewal service, which has so far allowed over 8,000 tenants to renew their tenancy agreements without leaving their homes.

Another key achievement for the year was the renewal of the agreement for the provision of property management services to the Abu Dhabi Government’s Department of Finance, representing further validation of our ongoing service performance by our valued partner.

RESPONDING TO COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, ADCP and ADCE implemented a number of measures to protect our, tenants, landlords, suppliers and staff.

We immediately rolled out enhanced sanitisation programmes to all managed buildings and their facilities, escalating the frequency of sanitisation across our entire managed portfolio, in accordance with the regulations mandated by the Federal Health Authority.

Capacity restrictions were introduced across all of our operating locations, where waiting area seating was reduced, and thermal scanners and protective screens installed, to safeguard the well-being of our staff and customers.

ADCP and ADCE were also authorised to release payments of up to AED 5 billion for contractors and other business partners within 30 days of approval. Administration fees for properties rented by affected tenants were waived for three months and rental payments accepted in monthly instalments for all ADCP tenants.

Furthermore, an online documentation submission and correspondence platform was enabled for our partners, in order to ease the burden of business processes during the pandemic, and a dedicated online platform jointly deployed between ADCE and the Department of Finance was launched to document, track and manage project-related correspondence and decisions.
