As a good corporate citizen, ADCB invests in organisations that promote social and environmental sustainability in communities where we conduct business. Our participation comprises partnerships, community programmes and outreach, and direct and indirect donations. Through these platforms ADCB supports important health issues such as breast cancer awareness, financial literacy, youth development and entrepreneurship, and environmental protection. This section features some of our key partnerships and community programmes.
ADCB has been partnering with charitable organisations who specialise in breast cancer awareness, since 2010. We promote and highlight the importance of early detection of this disease in a variety of awareness-raising ways. Our activities have included sponsorships and fundraising events, multiple donations platforms, staff seminars, free mammogram screenings and information booklets.

ADCB has a long-standing relationship with the Emirates Red Crescent. Our support for this humanitarian organisation has included participation in numerous nation-wide donation campaigns for humanitarian relief missions, sponsoring the Ataya Exhibition held in association with the Red Crescent, and facilitating contributions through our ATM and e-banking donations platforms.
ADCB is committed to supporting the UAE government’s environmental sustainability goals. We have been supporting Emirates Nature, a UAE-based non-profit organization that works in association with WWF, at the highest corporate levels (as a Platinum and Pearl Member) since 2012. Our partnership has helped contribute to the protection of the biodiversity of species and ecosystems across the UAE through our membership with Emirates Nature-WWF, by facilitating donations. As well we have supported Emirates Nature to raise awareness on environmental issues through activities such as Mangrove tours and seminars for our staff, sponsoring the delivery of energy efficiency workshops to our SME clients, annual support of Earth Hour, and other collaborations.
ADCB was recognized in 2017 for our contribution to the vision of the country through our continuous support to Emirates Nature-WWF and was granted the Dubai Endowment Sign by the MBRGCEC as part of “The 2017 Year of Giving” declared by the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the environment endowment initiative launched by The Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy (the MBRGCEC) and Emirates Nature-WWF. ADCB continues to support the Endowment as a result of our ongoing contributions to Emirates Nature-WWF.
