Attracting and developing UAE national talent is a key pillar of our strategy
The Bank has implemented structured learning opportunities and recruitment policies to ensure that Emiratis are well represented in the Bank.
In 2021, we recruited 477 UAE nationals during the year, bringing the total number of Emirati staff to 1,854 [1]. Across our operations, 38% of employees are Emiratis, while our subsidiary, Al Hilal Bank (AHB) has one of the highest Emiratisation ratios among UAE banks, at 51%.
Our dedicated Tamooha training programme supports Emirati women by giving them access to professional opportunities without compromising social values. Tamooha welcomed 26 new candidates in 2021, taking the total number of participants to 195.
All UAE Nationals are provided with structured learning opportunities, focused on developing their leadership, management and technical capabilities to facilitate their career progression at ADCB.
