Is WhatsApp Banking secure?

Yes, all messages are secured with end-to-end encryption. However, please do not share sensitive banking information such as:

  • Bank Account Numbers
  • Login IDs
  • Passwords
  • Covered or Debit Card Numbers
  • Personal ID Numbers (PINs)
  • Card Verification Values (CVVs)
  • Telephone ID Number (TPIN)

Note: Refrain from sharing any other sensitive financial information in chat sessions. ADCB Islamic Banking will never request such information.

You can access ADCB WhatsApp Banking services from multiple numbers. However, services related to accounts and cards can only be accessed from your registered mobile number.

If I lose my phone, how can I secure my account information on ADCB WhatsApp Banking?

In such a situation, please contact ADCB Islamic Banking customer support at 600 56 2626 to block your ADCB WhatsApp Banking services.

How can I ensure I'm chatting with a verified ADCB bank number?

The official ADCB WhatsApp verified number is 600 50 2030. It will display as a “Verified Business” by WhatsApp, marked with a green tick next to the number.
