1. How do I Earn TouchPoints?

a. You can earn TouchPoints from the "TouchPoints Relationship":

  • by using your ADCB Credit Card or ADCB Debit Card for purchases
  • the average monthly balance maintained in your Current and / or Savings Account
  • opening Fixed Deposits
  • subscribing to Investment Products (both proprietary and third party)
  • subscribing to Insurance products distributed by ADCB
  • taking a Personal Loan
  • taking a Smart Loan
  • taking a Car Loan
  • taking a Mortgage Loan
  • using the Electronic Channels (ADCB Personal Internet Banking, ADCBMobile, IVR 600 50 2030) for banking transactions and bill payments

b. You can also earn bonus TouchPoints during promotions

2. How do I earn TouchPoints using ADCB Credit Card?

You will earn TouchPoints for every Dirham spent whenever you use your ADCB Credit Card for eligible purchases. The more you use your card the more TouchPoints you earn and the more you can redeem. The transactions which are not included for earning TouchPoints are: cash advance, fees, charges, interest, balance transfers, credit card loans, premiums or payments to insurance products or other products, foreign currency purchases, utility bill payments exceeding the earning limit, disputed, erroneous or unauthorized / fraudulent transactions and payments.

3. How do I earn TouchPoints using ADCB Debit Card?

You will earn higher TouchPoints for eligible purchases outside the U.A.E. Use your ADCB Debit Card for all your local and international purchases and see your TouchPoints grow. The transactions which are not included for earning TouchPoints are: cash withdrawals, fees, charges, interest, cash back from Point of Sale, foreign currency purchases, traveller's checks, premiums or payments to insurance products or other products, disputed, erroneous or unauthorized / fraudulent transactions and payments.

4. How do I earn TouchPoints on your Current and / or Savings Account?

The higher the average monthly balance the more TouchPoints will be earned. You earn TouchPoints on the average monthly balance maintained in your Current and / or Savings Account. All current and savings accounts held under the same customer id will be considered as one account and are subject to minimum qualifying criteria and point accrual limits.

TouchPoints will be differentiated for Excellency customers. All current and savings accounts held under the same customer id will be considered as one account and are subject to minimum qualifying criteria and point accrual limits.

5. Do I earn additional if I am an Excellency Customer holding an Excellency Current Account or Savings Account or ADCB Platinum Credit Card or ADCB Excellency CreditCard?

TouchPoints earned by you will be higher. All current and savings accounts held under the same customer id will be considered as one account. TouchPoints Earning are subject to minimum qualifying criteria and point accrual limits.

6. How do I earn TouchPoints opening Fixed Deposits?

Fixed Deposits entitle you to dual benefits - interest and TouchPoints. TouchPoints are earned on maturity of the Fixed Deposit Amount for the tenor placed. All deposits held by you under the same customer id will be subject to minimum qualifying criteria and point accrual limits

7. How do I earn TouchPoints subscribing to Investment Products (both proprietary and third party)?

You earn TouchPoints only on successful issuance of the Investment Product/s and is/are subject to minimum qualifying criteria and point accrual limits.

8. How do I earn TouchPoints subscribing to Insurance products distributed by ADCB i.e Bancassurance?

TouchPoints are earned after the Insurance product is approved by the insurance company and you have paid the first premium pursuant to the terms and conditions thereof.

9. How do I earn TouchPoints taking a Personal / Smart / Car / Mortgage Loan?

TouchPoints are earned based on the loan amount disbursed. TouchPoints will be credited to the TouchPoints Account upon expiration of at least thirty (30) days from activation of an account and only if such account remains active and in good standing during such period .The number of TouchPoints credited to the TouchPoints Account will be subject to minimum qualifying criteria and TouchPoints accrual limits.

10. How do I earn TouchPoints using the Electronic Channels (ADCB@ctive Personal Internet Banking, ADCB Mobile, IVR 600 50 2030) for banking transactions and bill payments?

TouchPoints are earned on first time registration to ADCB@ctive Personal Internet Banking {as well as ADCB Mobile and when you register for a Telephone Personal Identification Number (TPIN) on the IVR}. TouchPoints are also earned on making a utility bill payment (per payment) or external funds transfer and are subject to the TouchPoints accrual qualifying criteria and limit. No TouchPoints shall be earned for funds transfer between ADCB accounts.

11. Do I earn TouchPoints for redeeming the TouchPoints earned?

No. You do not earn TouchPoints for redeeming the TouchPoints earned.

12. What happens to the TouchPoints I earn from the different accounts that I have?

The TouchPoints that you earn from the different accounts that you have under the same Customer Id will be accumulated under one TouchPoints Account automatically.

13. Are there are any restrictions on the number of TouchPoints that I can earn or on the type of transactions?

The associated limits on earnings, or which transactions are eligible as well as the number of TouchPoints that you earn may be set by some of the TouchPoints Relationships.
