What is the time frame to process a PayOrder Facility on my Credit Card?

Your request will be processed within one (1) working day from the day the request is received by the Bank.

How do I apply for a PayOrder Facility on my Credit Card?

You can avail this facility through Personal Internet Banking and Mobile Banking App.

Who can apply for a PayOrder Facility on Credit Cards?

PayOrder Facility is applicable to all customers with active ADCB Islamic Banking credit card(s) and a minimum retail principal outstanding balance of AED 500 or more.

Is there a minimum amount to apply for a PayOrder Facility on my Credit Card?

A minimum retail principal outstanding amount of AED 500 is required to avail PayOrder Facility option on your applicable Credit Card.

What are the payment options available for PayOrder Facility on a Credit cards?

You can choose to pay your monthly instalment amounts for 6, 12, 18, 24, 36 or 48 months.

What happens if I am unable to pay an instalment while having a PayOrder Facility plan on my Credit card?

A monthly instalment has to be paid towards PayOrder Facility However, if you fail to pay your instalments for two consecutive months, the Bank will cancel the PayOrder Facility and the entire outstanding amount under the PayOrder Facility will be moved to the regular outstanding balance on the card and shall become payable henceforth with applicable profit per month.

Can I amend the payment plan on an existing PayOrder Facility plan?

You cannot amend the payment plan on an existing PayOrder Facility.

However, you can foreclose the existing plan and book a new plan.

Can supplementary cardholders apply for a PayOrder Facility?

This facility is available for the total retail principal balance on both Primary and Supplementary credit cards.

However, only primary cardholders can raise a PayOrder Facility request.

Can I cancel the existing PayOrder Facility on my credit card and will I be charged?

You can choose to cancel your existing PayOrder Facility by prepaying the retail principal outstanding amount to the Bank in one (1) lump sum payment.

What happens if I close my Credit Card while the PayOrder Facility is active?

If you request for closure of the credit card before all instalments are completed on the card account, the PayOrder Facility amount will be debited to the credit card account as one consolidated amount.

Thereafter, the credit card will be closed post-payment of complete outstanding on the credit card.

How will I be billed for PayOrder Facility in my credit card statement of account?

The PayOrder Facility monthly instalments together with profit and all applicable fees and charges shall be included in the Minimum Payment Due and billed in the Statement of Account.

Billing shall commence from the first Statement of Account sent to you following the conversion of retail principal outstanding balance.

How will the PayOrder Facility reflect in my credit card statement of account?

The Bank in the first Statement of Account sent to you following the conversion of retail principal outstanding balance (part or full) will state the amount of the PayOrder Facility, the amount of monthly payment instalment payable and the pending number of instalments.

Each monthly installment under PayOrder Facility will include amounts for the payment of principal and profit.

What happens to the credit limit on my card when I avail a PayOrder Facility?

Please note by availing PayOrder Facility, the amount converted will be blocked and available credit limit will reduce accordingly.

As and when instalments are paid, the instalment paid amount will be part of the available limit.

Can I apply for a PayOrder Facility more than once?

Yes, you may apply for PayOrder Facility more than once as long as you qualify.
